La Fosse is a talent solutions business that helps build teams to deliver growth and transformation. Through a variety of recruitment services, we support our customers to achieve their ambitions, working by their side to create a total talent solution from the classroom to the boardroom. We do things differently by treating our employees, customers, and candidates with care and respect.<\/p>\n
We employ approx. 215 people, and our employees are located mainly in the UK; however, we do have employees in mainland Europe and Dubai.<\/p>\n
Slavery, child labour and human trafficking are serious crimes and a violation of fundamental human rights. There are various forms of this \u2018Modern Slavery\u2019 which deprives victims of their liberty and usually involves financial exploitation.<\/p>\n
At La Fosse we conduct our business fairly, ethically and with respect to fundamental human rights. We are fully committed to the prevention of all forms of slavery, forced labour or servitude, child labour and human-trafficking, both in our business and in our supply chains. We will not tolerate it.<\/p>\n
To date, we have not been made aware of or discovered any incidents relating to modern slavery within our business or through our candidate placements. However, as a business, we are committed to continually strive to ensure that any mistreatment of individuals is identified and eradicated in each division of our business and our candidate placement.<\/p>\n
La Fosse makes appropriate checks on all employees, recruitment agencies and suppliers, to know who is working for, or on behalf of us.<\/p>\n
La Fosse provides every employee with a written contract of employment. We pay every employee in accordance with the law. We comply with our legal obligations to ensure the health and safety of all of our employees and workers, including in relation to working hours, rest breaks and holidays.<\/p>\n
We deal with a diverse group of suppliers which support all aspects of our operations both domestically and internationally. We expect all of our suppliers to assess their business and supply chains and confirm to us that they comply with all legal obligations, in relation to Modern Slavery, and are committed to ensuring there is no slavery, forced labour or servitude, child labour or human trafficking taking place in their business, or any of their supply chains.\u00a0 We request that they must also provide us with a copy of their relevant policies.<\/p>\n
Any breach of this policy or suppliers who are found to have slavery or human-trafficking in their business, or knowingly in their supply chain, will have their contract terminated and we may pursue necessary legal remedies.<\/p>\n

We provide training to all employees, to ensure awareness of the risks of modern slavery and how to identify them.<\/p>\n
Going forward, La Fosse remains committed to ensuring all staff are adequately trained on identifying and preventing modern slavery and human trafficking. Additionally, La Fosse will strive to continuously improve our requests for further information on the business practices of our current and future customers, partners, suppliers, and in particular, seeking to obtain information on how they identify risks of modern slavery within their businesses and what actions they would take should they identify activities relating to modern slavery.<\/p>\n
