{"id":109912,"date":"2026-03-27T22:16:29","date_gmt":"2026-03-27T22:16:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.lafosse.com\/job\/it-service-operations-manager\/"},"modified":"2026-03-27T22:16:29","modified_gmt":"2026-03-27T22:16:29","slug":"119131","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.lafosse.com\/job\/119131\/","title":{"rendered":"IT Service Operations Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&rsquo;re supporting an enterprise-scale organisation undergoing significant digital transformation, seeking an experienced IT Service Operations Manager to lead platform operations and service delivery.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary:<\/strong> &pound;70&ndash;85k + strong benefits package<br \/><strong>Location:<\/strong> Surrey (3 days onsite + occasional travel to regional offices)<\/p>\n<p>You&rsquo;ll play a key leadership role within a growing technology function, overseeing service operations, managing a multi-disciplinary team, and acting as the bridge between internal stakeholders, external partners, and end users.<\/p>\n<p>This is a highly visible role focused on service excellence, platform reliability, and continuous improvement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and manage a team responsible for 3rd line support and platform operations across a complex technology estate<\/li>\n<li>Own ITIL service operations including Incident, Change, Problem and Major Incident Management<\/li>\n<li>Act as the primary service lead, ensuring delivery aligns with SLAs, KPIs, and contractual expectations<\/li>\n<li>Drive service reporting, governance forums, and stakeholder communication at all levels<\/li>\n<li>Oversee platform performance across data warehouse, SaaS, PaaS and IaaS environments<\/li>\n<li>Manage supplier relationships, ensuring accountability and performance against agreed service standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience leading technical service or platform teams in a complex environment<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of ITILv4 service management principles (certification required)<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing SaaS, PaaS and\/or IaaS platforms within enterprise environments<\/li>\n<li>Ability to operate as a senior stakeholder interface, translating technical concepts into business outcomes<\/li>\n<li>Experience owning service governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement<\/li>\n<li>Strong vendor and supplier management experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience with tools such as Jira (or similar service management platforms)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Sound like you?
