IT Trainer (Digital Skills Coach) <\/strong><\/h1>\n

Location:<\/strong> Manchester (Hybrid, 3 days office-based)<\/p>\n

About the Role<\/strong><\/h2>\n

A leading global professional services firm is seeking an energetic, engaging, and experienced IT TRainer (Digital Skills Coach)<\/strong> to join its Technology Services function. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing the digital capabilities of colleagues across the business, empowering them to work confidently and effectively using modern workplace technologies.<\/p>\n

Working as part of a dedicated Digital Skills Team, you will contribute to the design and delivery of high\u2011quality learning experiences—ranging from instructor\u2011led training to innovative on\u2011demand digital content. As the firm continues to embrace new technologies, you’ll support key initiatives, champion digital adoption, and help embed a culture of continuous learning.<\/p>\n

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in training delivery, digital content creation, and technology adoption within a corporate environment.<\/p>\n

\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h2>\n
    \n
  • Champion the use of digital technology and help raise digital capability across the firm.<\/li>\n
  • Design and deliver blended, task\u2011based training programmes covering core workplace technologies, legal and business applications, and Microsoft 365 tools.<\/li>\n
  • Deliver one\u2011to\u2011one coaching, classroom training, webinars, workshops and remote learning sessions.<\/li>\n
  • Produce high\u2011quality digital learning content including videos, eLearning modules and interactive guides using modern learning tools.<\/li>\n
  • Develop materials such as slide decks, trainer notes, handouts, job aids and SharePoint resources.<\/li>\n
  • Conduct training needs analyses, assess skills gaps, and design learning pathways for key roles.<\/li>\n
  • Evaluate learning outcomes and ensure training translates into improved performance in the workplace.<\/li>\n
  • Support training elements of technology projects, working closely with product owners and technical teams.<\/li>\n
  • Manage, publish and maintain content within the Learning Management System (LMS).<\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to tailor training and support service improvement initiatives.<\/li>\n
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, digital learning trends and best practice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Experience and Qualifications<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Proven experience delivering live, instructor-led IT training to groups and individuals—in person and remotely.<\/li>\n
    • Demonstrable experience designing course content, training materials and digital resources.<\/li>\n
    • Strong capability in MS Excel and Microsoft Copilot (advanced level).<\/li>\n
    • Experience acting as Training Lead within Business or IT projects.<\/li>\n
    • Hands-on experience creating digital learning content using tools such as Camtasia, Articulate, Canva or similar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Desirable:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Trainer qualifications (e.g., CIPD, MCT, TAP).<\/li>\n
      • Microsoft Office Specialist certification.<\/li>\n
      • Experience working with systems such as iManage, Aderant, Teams, Windows 11, mobile technologies, video conferencing tools, and cloud\u2011based SaaS environments.<\/li>\n
      • Experience working in a professional services or corporate learning environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
