Cloud, platforms, data, automation and AI are all progressing simultaneously. Releases are smaller, faster, and more frequent. For many organisations, transformation is no longer a phase – it is the operating model.

This creates a new set of leadership challenges:

  • How do you sustain momentum when change never stops?
  • How do you keep the business engaged through constant delivery?
  • How do you demonstrate value before the “end” – when there is no clear finish line?

This roundtable discussion facilitated by Mark Davidson, Chief Transformation Officer at Thredd, brings together senior transformation leaders from across industries to explore how they are navigating this reality in practice.

We will focus on four key areas:

  • Navigating continuous transformation: Understanding how organisations are managing multiple, concurrent technology initiatives and the shift from large programmes to iterative delivery.
  • Sustaining engagement in constant change: How leaders are addressing change fatigue, driving adoption, and maintaining momentum across ongoing releases.
  • Articulating value in an ongoing journey: Making progress tangible, demonstrating impact early, and maintaining credibility across long transformation horizons.
  • Defining transformation in different contexts: Exploring how transformation is framed across organisations with varying levels of maturity, structure, and ambition.

This is a closed, peer-level discussion for senior leaders accountable for enterprise or technology transformation. The group will bring together perspectives from across financial services, retail, technology, energy, transport and the public sector – creating a broader, more transferable view of what works.

Spaces are limited and invite only.

UNBOUND Steering Group Breakfast: Shape what’s next

14 April 2026 | Hosted by Lucy Kemp

The UNBOUND steering committee exists because the best decisions come from the people closest to the work. Senior leaders who see what is actually happening inside organisations. People who understand the real barriers facing women in technology, not just the headline statistics.

These sessions are where that knowledge shapes what UNBOUND does next.

Lucy will be covering:

Spotlighting women in tech and AI. We are identifying the top 10 women shaping AI right now and building a landmark piece of content around them. The steering committee will help shape who we spotlight and how we tell their stories.

The UNBOUND stamp of approval. We have developed a framework and pilot scheme for our employer endorsement system, which signals great workplaces for women directly on job listings. The group will review, challenge, and refine it together.

Confidence masterclasses. A programme of masterclasses is coming later this year. This session is where the steering committee helps define the first five, including the topics, the format, and who they are designed for.

As ever, the steering committee will leave with actions, not just ideas.

Who this is for

Lucy has personally invited each member of the steering committee to this session. Attendance is by invitation only.

If you are interested in joining a future steering group, get in touch with Lucy directly at lucy.kemp@lafosse.com

About the event

UNBOUND is continuing its mission to unlock the full potential of women in technology by focusing on what truly accelerates careers: moving beyond mentorship into meaningful sponsorship and reciprocal support.

Inspired by this year’s International Women’s Day theme, Give to Gain, we’re hosting an intimate evening exploring how generosity, advocacy, and honest conversations can transform your career trajectory. This isn’t another networking mixer, it’s a practical, real‑talk session on what it takes to grow and thrive in tech.

What to expect

Our panel, facilitated by Lucy Kemp, will be a candid conversation with our panellists about the support that changed their careers, how they’ve navigated both giving and receiving guidance, and the sponsors who shaped their journeys.

Meet our panellists

We’ll then shift gears into networking opening space to talk about what really matters: recognising your value, navigating salary conversations, balancing work and life, and stepping into leadership with confidence. We will get practical around giving and gaining.

Building pathways together

This isn’t just another event with great company and catering – it’s intentionally designed to remove barriers and strengthen the networks women need to advance. By fostering meaningful connections and championing both giving and receiving support, we’re building a community where women can grow, lead, and thrive…together.

AI is no longer experimental for most organisations.

It is already influencing decisions, workflows, and outcomes across teams.

Earlier this year, we commissioned independent research with 2,000 UK tech workers to understand how AI is actually being used inside organisations, where capability is building, and where risk is emerging.

The findings challenge a lot of assumptions senior teams are currently making about readiness, governance, and skills. In many cases, AI adoption is moving faster than leadership awareness and control.

On Wednesday 6th May, we’re sharing the findings publicly for the first time and discussing what they mean in practice for organisations trying to move from experimentation to effective execution.

This session is focused on insight, not hype.
And on practical decisions, not theory.

The panel will bring together leaders working directly with AI strategy, delivery, and capability to examine what the data shows and how organisations should respond.

Register for Event

What we’ll cover

  • What the research reveals: How AI is being used day to day across UK organisations, where leaders are aligned with reality, and where gaps are appearing.
  • Capability and confidence: What the data shows about skills, preparedness, and where teams are already relying on AI without formal structures in place.
  • From pilots to progress: Why many AI initiatives stall, what blocks scale, and how organisations are starting to move beyond experimentation.
  • Implications for leadership: What this means for governance, investment, and responsibility at a senior level.

What you’ll take away

A clear view of the data
The key findings from the research, with context on why they matter and where they should influence strategy.

Real-world perspective
Discussion grounded in current challenges, not idealised case studies.

Practical direction
Clarity on where to focus first, what to avoid, and how to approach AI capability more deliberately.

Who this is for

Senior leaders responsible for technology, data, transformation, and delivery, including:

  • CTOs and CIOs
  • Heads of Engineering, Data, and Digital
  • Transformation leaders
  • Senior business leaders accountable for AI outcomes

This is a working session designed to help organisations make better decisions about AI, based on evidence rather than assumption.

To CTO or not to CTO (Part two)

15th April 2026 | 6:00pm | The Conduit, London

Following the success of our first To CTO or not to CTO event, we’re back for a deeper, more candid conversation about what the CTO role really demands, and whether it’s the right move for you.

This panel brings together experienced technology leaders to move beyond the theory and into the lived reality of senior technical leadership.

Meet the panel:

This session will explore:

  • What actually changes when you step into the CTO role
  • The trade-offs no one talks about: influence, pressure, pace and politics
  • How to assess whether you want the role, not just whether you’re ready for it
  • Different CTO archetypes, and how the role varies by business, scale and context
  • When staying technical, or choosing an alternative leadership path, might be the smarter move
  • This is not a checklist for promotion. It’s an honest discussion about ambition, identity, and long-term career satisfaction.
  • Expect straight talking, practical insight, and an open debate designed to help you make a more informed decision about your next step.

Spaces are limited. Register now.

AI Reality Check: What Leaders Need to Know Now

Join us on 6th May to explore the real state of AI adoption in UK organisations

We surveyed 2,000 UK tech workers to find out how AI is actually being used, where capability is building, and where risk is emerging. The findings challenge many of the assumptions senior teams are making about readiness, governance and skills. At this exclusive evening at The Conduit, we’ll share the research publicly for the first time and discuss what it means for leaders trying to move from experimentation to effective execution. This is insight, not hype. Practical decisions, not theory.

Register for Event

AI isn’t coming. It’s already everywhere in your organisation.

Your people are using AI tools right now to make decisions, produce work, analyse data, write code, and do tasks that used to require full teams. Most of those decisions never reach leadership. Most aren’t checked. A lot of them are wrong.

And the uncomfortable reality is this: AI is moving faster inside UK businesses than the leaders running them.

We wanted to understand the real scale of this problem, so we commissioned independent research with 2,000 UK tech workers. What they told us contradicts almost everything leadership teams think they know about AI readiness, risk, and capability.

This research will make some companies rethink their entire strategy. It will make others realise they’re already behind.

Before we release the findings publicly, we’re bringing a small group of senior UK leaders together for a closed, off-record, brutally honest discussion.

This is not a panel. This is not a showcase. This is not a safe PR conversation.

This is a private briefing for leaders who actually want to know the truth about what’s happening inside their organisations, and what they need to fix before AI-driven decisions start costing them money, reputation, or people.

What we’ll be unpacking

The focus depends on where the data hits hardest, but expect the conversation to confront issues like:

  • AI adoption in the shadows. How much AI is already being used without leadership approval, oversight, or understanding, and what that means for risk.

  • The governance gap. Where companies think they are vs where the workforce says they actually are. Spoiler, the gap is wide.

  • Leadership readiness. Whether senior teams genuinely understand the tools they’re approving, the decisions they’re delegating, and the skills they’re missing.

  • Workforce truth. What tech workers really think about AI, how prepared they feel, and where they’re already relying on it in ways leadership hasn’t caught up to yet.

None of this will be comfortable. That’s the point.

What you’ll walk away with

  • A private first look at the data. The kind of findings that will dominate boardroom conversations for the next year. You’ll see them before anyone else.

  • A candid peer discussion. No recordings, no observers, no PR spin. Just leaders comparing notes on what they’re seeing, what scares them, and what the data means for their strategy.

  • A clear view of your blind spots. The biggest risks come from what you don’t know is already happening. This will show you where to look first.

  • A competitive advantage. Your competitors’ junior staff are adopting AI faster than their leaders can regulate it. If you don’t get ahead of it now, you’re already behind.

Who this is for

Leaders who are already responsible for AI decisions, whether they feel ready or not:

  • CTOs and CIOs

  • Chief Data Officers

  • Digital and transformation leaders

  • Business heads accountable for technology direction

We’re inviting 20 to 25 leaders. No more. If you’re in the room, you’re part of the real conversation shaping UK business strategy in 2025.

If you’re not, you’ll hear about it afterwards.

Agile Assembly: Business Agility Unlocked

In partnership with Zopa

Agile Assembly exists to push the conversation around agility beyond Product and Engineering.

Across the industry, senior leaders are saying the same thing: their best work is often slowed down, blocked or undone by a lack of agility in other areas of the business. Finance, People, Marketing, Sales, Operations — true organisational agility depends on every function moving with pace, clarity and confidence.

This event brings those conversations into the open.

We’re bringing together senior leaders from across the ecosystem to explore what business-wide agility really looks like: the pain points, the benefits, the trade-offs, and the practical solutions that actually work. Expect honest stories from people who’ve influenced agility at scale – the tools they used, the blockers they hit, and how they overcame them.

Whether you’re driving transformation, navigating slow processes, or simply trying to improve flow and delivery for your end customer – you’ll leave with insights and actions you can apply immediately.

Our speakers

  • Giles Lindsay (CITP FIAP FBCS FCMI), Author of best seller Clearly Agile and latest Best Seller The Adaptive Leader, Non-Executive Director at the Agile Business Consortium, President and Chair of the Business Agility Institute
  • Jem Jelly, one of the most respected Agile practitioners out there, known for practical coaching at both the team and executive level
  • Vinnie Gill FCIPD, Co-founder of Outcome Over Output and Chair of the Product Management Initiative with the Agile Alliance
  • Stuart Munton, CIO for Group Operations and Technology at AND Digital
  • Lewis Cooke, Director of Delivery at Zopa Bank
  • Peter Donlon, CTO at Zopa Bank

Who should attend?

This event is industry agnostic – business agility affects everyone. Ideal for leaders in:

  • Product & Engineering
  • Transformation & Delivery
  • Operations
  • Finance
  • Marketing
  • HR/People
  • Sales
…or anyone impacted by slow processes that ultimately affect customer experience.

Come for the insight. Stay for the conversation. Spaces are limited, register now.

You’re invited to the launch of ConnEx, where Britain’s most influential C-suite executives will gather to redefine how leadership talent can be mobilised for good.

What is ConnEx?

ConnEx is our movement to connect charities with the world’s leading C-suite executive talent, on an advisory basis, completely free of charge. We believe that giving back isn’t just about financial donations; it’s about mobilising the expertise and insight that business leaders possess to create systemic, sustained impact.

We place top-tier executives into advisory roles with charities, providing strategic guidance that helps organisations reach their full potential. This is leadership as a force for change, with a strong focus on purpose, innovation, trust and long-term partnerships.

The challenge we’re addressing

Many charities face critical gaps in strategic expertise:

  • 41% of charities do not have a dedicated digital trustee; boards’ digital skills remain a systemic gap.
  • 54% of charities report finding it hard to recruit and retain staff.

ConnEx bridges this gap by connecting charities with executives who can provide this expertise pro bono.

Our confirmed charity partners

We’re proud to be working with leading UK charities who will present their transformation challenges at the event:

  • Action For Children – Supporting vulnerable children and young people
  • MHA – Providing care and support for older people
  • RNLI – The charity that saves lives at sea
  • Parkinson’s UK –Improving life with Parkinson’s
  • RSPCA – For Every Kind

Each charity will share their strategic challenges and the advisory expertise that could transform their impact.

You can learn more about your charity partners here.

Who we’re inviting

FTSE C-suite executives who understand that purpose drives performance:

  • CFOs with strategic financial & commercial insight
  • CTOs driving digital innovation
  • CISO’s protecting against information security & data protection threats
  • CDO’s evangelising the use of Data & AI
  • Chief People Officers building high-performing cultures
  • COO’s building resilient and efficient enterprise

All attendees are personally vetted and share our commitment to creating meaningful social impact.

The ConnEx impact

For charities:

  • Advisory boards of 6 senior executives per charity
  • Cross-functional expertise in finance, technology, data, operations, people and cyber security
  • Long-term strategic partnerships that drive sustainable growth
  • Unlock faster problem-solving with experts who bring a future-focused lens.

For executives:

  • Meaningful opportunity to apply your expertise for social good
  • Connection with like-minded leaders who share your values
  • Advisory roles that fit around your schedule (typically a few days per quarter)
  • Association with leading UK charities making real impact

Proven success: We’ve already delivered 8 successful charity-executive matches with 100% conversion rate from enquiry to meaningful engagement.

What makes this different

This isn’t just another networking event. ConnEx represents:

  • Purpose-driven leadership: Connect with executives who understand that social impact drives business success
  • Genuine commitment: All attendees have been personally invited based on their values and expertise
  • Measurable outcomes: 15+ C-suite advisory positions available for immediate placement
  • Quality assurance: Invitation-only attendance ensuring committed, high-calibre participation
  • Long-term impact: We’re building ongoing strategic partnerships, not one-off meetings

In our recent conversations, one thing has kept coming up: leaders in financial services are all facing similar challenges, but don’t always have a space to talk them through with peers who really get it.

La Fosse are here to change that.

This October we are launching a new community for senior FS leaders. This will be a space to build meaningful connections, swap ideas, and get practical support from peers facing the same opportunities and challenges.

We’re kicking things off with a launch roundtable, facilitated by the Srimanth Rudraraju – Group Director of Engineering at LSEG. It’s your chance to shape the community from day one and dive into the issues that matter most, including:

  • How technology and data are reshaping financial services
  • What leadership looks like in a changing market
  • Building resilience in times of disruption
  • How best to prepare and implement for the role out of AI
  • Creating space for collaboration and shared solutions

Date: Thursday 20th November
Time: 6pm
Location: London

What to Expect

This evening is about co-creation. We’ll be inviting attendees to share ideas and input across two rounds of discussion focused on shaping UNBOUND’s community and content themes for 2026.

Facilitated by Lucy Kemp, Director of Brand at La Fosse and Jon Price, Recruitment Director at La Fosse, we will explore conversations around allyship and the role we all play in driving meaningful progress.

Expect thought-provoking prompts, lively debate and the chance to collaborate with other leaders who care deeply about equity, innovation and inclusion in tech.

Why This Matters

UNBOUND started as a movement to unleash the potential of women in tech. Every conversation we have brings us closer to understanding what real change looks like.

This roundtable is your chance to be part of defining that change – influencing how UNBOUND evolves, and ensuring it continues to reflect the needs and ambitions of the people it exists to serve.

If you’re ready to help shape the future of UNBOUND – and the movement it represents – we’d love you to join us.

Using AI to drive enterprise value across the portfolio

As AI adoption moves from experimentation to execution, value creation leaders face a new challenge: how to position automation not just as an efficiency play, but as a lever for growth, differentiation, and valuation uplift.

La Fosse Executive is proud to be hosting a closed-door breakfast to bring together senior operators, investors, and technologists for a candid discussion on the strategic use of AI across complex portfolios. We will explore where automation is truly driving value, beyond margin improvement, and how to frame its impact in a way that resonates with CEOs, boards, and buyers.

Key topics include:

  • Is automation purely an efficiency play, or does it influence valuation at exit?
  • When does automation translate to multiple expansion vs. margin gains?
  • The role of automation in shaping the future-state equity story
  • How buyers and diligence teams assess AI-led operational maturity
  • Positioning AI as a value lever investors and CEOs want to back

This event is strictly invite only. If you’re interested in learning more please reach out to events@lafosse.com.
